The marketing value of your website depends upon its content. The content is the most important factor to great SEO – the ability of your webpages to rank well. Hence, your content predicts the marketing value of your website.
3 Types of Websites
Based upon the content, there are just 3 different types of websites;
- Static – content is static (does not change)
- Dynamic – website contains fresh relevant content
- Interactive – website contains dynamic content AND invites comments
Static websites are serve as digital business cards. They are a resource. The lack of fresh content prohibits the possibility of ranking with the search engines, hence, no marketing value.
The only visitors to a static website are patients already known to your practice. No new patients will find your website because it will not rank.
Dynamic Sites Rank Well
Google (and the other search engines) love websites with fresh content. Websites which are refreshed regularly and routinely with fresh and relevant content rank the best.
Adding content on a regular basis to your website will earn you the rankings you desire. The dynamic site has the best potential to rank, therefore, it has tremendously marketing value.
Patients looking for your goods or services will be able to find your website because it can rank.
Interactive Websites
Interactive websites are dynamic sites (fresh content and rank well) which entertain comments to be asked by the reader after every article. Your answers to these questions will be very powerful in terms of engaging your readers and converting them to patients.
Listen how this “conversation” or “dialogue” can impact not only the author of the comment, but the dozens of readers who will follow as well.
All the best!
