Russ has written a bunch of eBooks. We talk about the advantages of an eBook for you and your practice.
Opt-in Incentive
An “opt in” is basically an incentive for you to share your email address for something in return. Often you are asked to “opt in” to subscribe to a newsletter.
Exchanging an email address for your eBook is a powerful way to grow your email subscriber list.
Revenue Stream
A popular eBook can improve your revenue stream. Depending upon your motives, it may be a good idea to consider charging for your eBook. There is no right or wrong answer, but is simply a consideration.
Creating an alternative revenue stream still allows you to grow your email list.
Russ has successfully charged for his eBook on “Rhinitis of Pregnancy” (no longer available). He chose a very popular topic (1/3 of women experience rhinitis during pregnancy) and provided solutions and education.
Establish Authority
Writing a book is persuasive and builds your authority on a subject. An eBook can further establish you as an authority…a huge advantage on the Internet.
As an authority, you are able to more quickly provide value and establish trust to your readers. In other words, you are more quickly able to be convert followers to actual patients.
