Converting your next patient from the Internet is easy if you understand these 3 concepts;
- Authority
- Value
- Trust
Understanding how these concepts create the process of engagement will allow you to more easily market yourself and grow your practice. These 3 elements represent the fundamental process of converting followers/readers to become your next patient.
The Authority
By authority, we don’t mean a policeman or someone else in uniform. By authority, we mean that you function as a knowledgeable resource. An expert. You provide credible and clinically accurate information.
Our business is medicine and healthcare. We are authorities or experts in healthcare. Therefore, our content is deemed to be authoritative.
Most other website owners require extra time to establish themselves as authorities. Patients naturally deem us as authorities based upon our education as proven by our degrees.
Simply produce content which is educational and informative. Ensure that your content is clinically accurate to maintain your authority.
Value
Every website you visit provides value to you. If it didn’t, you wouldn’t visit that website. Whether it is driving directions, recipes, movie times or health related questions, the websites solving these problems provide value.
If your content is educational and informative, you are providing value to your readers with your content. Readers are searching for answers to their health questions and if your content answers these question, you are providing excellent value.
Trust
With time, you earn trust. Then, and only then, your next patient will schedule an appointment.
As an authority, if you provide valuable content, you become trusted. It is a simple process and every new patient completes the same process.
Lacking just one of these 3 components will halt the process of converting your “reader” to a new patient.
